Susan Gainey was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2019 and the Indiana Bar in 1999. She is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Middle, Southern and Northern Districts of Florida; United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana and the United States Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit.   Ms. Gainey received her B.A. from Indiana University – Bloomington, her J.D. from Valparaiso University School of Law and her L.L.M. from Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis.

OVERVIEW & EXPERIENCE

Ms. Gainey’s civil litigation defense practice includes the representation of clients in premises liability, labor and employment, civil rights, bodily injury, wrongful death and casualty suits and commercial litigation in federal and state courts all over Florida. Her labor and employment experience concentrates on matters relating to employment discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, and civil rights violations. Ms. Gainey has presented on various aspects of the law at conferences and to groups. She has also authored numerous articles.
